Is there any bullet train depart from {Shanghai,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm} to {Suzhou,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/suzhou.htm}? And what is the timing, cost and is take how long arrival in Suzhou? From Suzhou to ZhouZhuang got any bus to there? How long need to take from ZhouZhuang back to {Hangzhou,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hangzhou.htm}?

I used bullet trains from Shanghai to Suzhou. There are many bullet trains between Shanghai and Suzhou. I suggest you search them on [tcgurl=http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/shanghai-schedule.htm]Shanghai Train Schedule[/tcgurl]. Timing, cost and travel time are all listed on the result lists.

After getting to Suzhou Railway Station, you can either take public bus (CNY 2) or a rickshaw (around CNY 5) to Suzhou North Bus Station (苏州汽车北站). There you can take long distance bus to [tcgurl=http://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/jiangsu/suzhou/zhouzhuang.htm]Zhouzhuang[/tcgurl](less than CNY 20).

It is said that there is no direct bus from Zhouzhuang to Hangzhou. You need get to Suzhou or {Kunshan,http://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/jiangsu/kunshan/} first and then take train or bus to Hanghzou.

Take bus from Zhouzhuang to Kunshan Passenger Transport Center(昆山客运中心) and then take long distance bus back to Hangzhou.

Zhouzhuang to Kunshan: around 1 hour.

Remember that the last bus from Kunshan to Hangzhou leaves at 18:20. If you miss the bus, take No.3 bus to Kunshan Railway Station to take train back to Hangzhou.

Hi Ellyse,

We are arriving in hangzhou really late (around 10.20 pm). Wouldn't mind staying a couple of days in hangzhou before moving on to next destination.

Which itinerary is better?

Hangzhou - Shanghai - Beijing - Suzhou - Hangzhou

or

Hangzhou - Suzhou - Shanghai - Beijing - Hangzhou

Just want to make sure that we are doing the most direct route as we have to fly back from hangzhou again
