I have read that China plans to publish official explanations to the marriage law. The explanations rule that the apartment bought before marriage is personal property. If the couple divorce, the owner of the property burdens the left debts.

This is favored by many young males because they needn't worry that their wives may get half property if they divorce.

Signing prenuptial agreement or notarizing personal property before marriage is a method. But it may affect the couple's relationship. If this is legalized, men will feel happy.
