Will Facebook be successful in China?

I am afraid that Facebook might fail in China. Take group buying websites for example. Groupon is the original. Those Chinese group buying websites just copied Groupon but they are successful in China. You can visit some Chinese group buying websites and you will find they look very much similar to Groupon.

Once Groupon decided to enter CHina, its Chinese counterparts are unhappy because they are afraid of competing with Groupon. Now Groupon has formally started its business in China by cooperating with Tencent.

I am not sure what will happen if those Chinese group buying websites cooperate together to combat Groupon. Similarly, Facebook should also think about it.

GUEST4037 A rumor said that Facebook would start Facebook Deal to compete with Groupon/LivingSocial. Definitely, Facebook is planning to expand its business. It has a vast of users in the world. Maybe it can win.
