Well, he was invited to show up in a very popular TV program in China. I didn't know why he appeared in an entertainment TV program. For money or something else?

Right. A monk should study Buddhist Sutras at temple instead of showing up in an entertainment TV program.

It's alright if he advocates Buddhism in a TV programme. But he showed up in an entertainment TV programme. I watched it and didn't find he advocates Buddhism.
