That's what my friend said, Wan. Actually, I do not know why Moslem beef is more expensive than ordinary beef.

According to what I found on the internet, Muslims hold a ritual and pray for the cattle before killing them. What's more, the cattle is killed by experienced Muslim butchers.

I am not a Muslim. So I'd like to eat ordinary beef. But someone says Moslem beef tastes better. Here in Xian, many locals go to Moslem Street to buy Moslem beef when the new year is coming. There are several shops that sell authentic Moslem beef products.

Lonely, from your previous words about Muslim's slaughter, I searched the youtube and stumbled upon "Mercy Halal Islamic Slaughter" and it shows how the animal submits to be slaughtered after some prayers. No wonder the meat slaughtered by a Muslim is more expensive.
