China badminton team sweeps Olympic gold medals!

Last night, China’s Super Dan defeated Lee Chongwei and won the gold medal of Badminton Men’s Singles. I was lucky to watch that game. Both players played excellently and won applause from the audience. Lee Chongwei was hurt in May and just trained 2 weeks in London before the Olympic Games. But he was qualified for the final though he suffered from his injury. When interviewed by CCTV reporter, Lee said that his feet were swollen and he just played the games with the help of pain-killer.

In the third game, his hands trembled when he drank water. I couldn’t imagine how serious his injury was. But he insisted playing the games to the end though he just won the silver medal.

After Men’s Singles Final, China’s Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng defeated the Dane pair and claimed the gold medal of Men’s Doubles. Totally, China has claimed all the gold medals of Men’s and Women’s Singles, Men’s and Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Lonely, do you remember those two girls who were disqualified in the Women's Doubles? They had a chance to be the champions. Who should be responsible for them?

Li Yongbo, the coach of China Badminton's Team said on his Microblog that he would take the responsibility for Yu Yang and Wang Xiaoli. Now China has won five gold medals. I am wondering if he will keep his promise.
