Why wasn't he fired? The student is too young but the teacher is an adult. He must have known what he can do and what he can't do as a teacher.

You don't live in China so that you do not know the real situations.

Well, actually i live in China and i used to be a teacher for a University and College.
But at the beginning i made it very clear that i don't accept this kind of behavior and after someone still tried to do it i gave another speech.

And i had never problems with it again. Because where i am from you need to be careful, even a nice gesture can count as bribery and you can not only lose your job, but also your reputation.
