Wan,

Some moms's breast milk is very limited. They have no choice but feed their babies with milk powder. For these moms, 40 cans can't sustain for very long time. Usually, a can of milk powder's guarantee period is 18 months. Once it is opened, it must be consumed in one month. I think her baby can cnsume 40 cans in 18 months before they expire.

Don't forget that she also bougth many kinds of other things.
