Yes, some officials even set example for eating chicken. That's what I learn from the news. But I already said "byebye" to chicken, duck and pork for the sake of my life.

Probably that's why the chicken and duck farmers are unhappy. People don't buy chicken and ducks so that they suffer great losses.

It is unfortunate and we feel sad for them but these farmers need to understand the seriousness of the epidemic.

Wan, they understand the seriousness of the epidemic. But who understand their great losses? If their chickens and ducks are killed for the safety of the public, the government or the public should compensate them.

So it's all their fault?

Directly it's not their fault as the epidemic did not start from them. Such a loss is a tragedy. Anyhow, when people get high profit, they keep to themselves, and when losing a business they start to find faults and pointing fingers.

During Japanese Encephalitis attack on Malaysian pig farms, thousands of pigs were being culled and they really did lose millions of dollars to this epidemic. That is something businessmen have to accept of the unforeseen circumstances.

I think I see your point. Business is full of profits and risks. If you want to gain high profits, you should be prepared for the risks too. However, the government should build up a good development environmnent for them.

The government, I believe, has done something for them but of course there are rooms for improvement.
