Standing tickets are more expensive than seats tickets
Feb 1, 2013 21:27
guestLori There was a controversial topic of train ticket price from Guangzhou to Hefei that the standing ticket price is PMB 77 higher than the price of seat tickets. The authorities provide an explanation as these passengers will stand in the soft-seat compartments.

What does this mean? I stand in a better place, so I have to pay extra money than seats!

That's bullshit. I'd ask how many times the authorities take trains. If they like, I can buy standing tickets for them.
