Three naked sculptures of Chen Guangbiao, Gan Lulu and Mo Yan are displayed in the gallery of the Art School of Xiamen University. Who creates them? Sun Deying, a senior student who creates three naked sculptures as his graduation project.

Why did he choose these three persons? They are all controversial figures known to Chinese people.

Chen Guangbiao is a well-known Chinese philanthropist. He was to known the public after the Wenchuan Earthquake. He led over 120 rescue workers and 60 engineering vehicles to Wenchuan for relief work after the earthquake happened. He shouldered around 208 dead bodies out of the ruins and saved three little children. So far, he has already donated over 1.4 billion rmb to those who are in need of help. Although he has done enough good deeds, he is still hated by some people. Some people criticize him for his high profile in philanthropy, thinking that he does all these things to fish for compliments and fame.

Gan Lulu is a controversial figure in China. She gains her popularity from the public’s criticism. She always wears exposed clothes to attraction people’s attention. It works. She does attract people’s attraction but also their criticism.

Mo Yan, a Chinese writer, wins the Nobel Literature Prize this year. Some people believe that he doesn’t deserve such praise.

What does he want to express? “No matter who you are, you are the same as everyone when you take off your clothes. ”, says he.

Ok, I got it. Why do you say "seven feet under"? Is it because the dead buries seven feet under the earth?
