Wan, Today, natural gas has become the main fuel for the public buses. The gas tank is equipped at the rear part of the bus. Even it's on fire, the driver stays at the safest position. And I think that they all should be trained to deal with emergent situations.

Last time we used LPG or liquefied petroleum gas which many a time causes explosion and now with cheaper NGV which is compressed natural gas, many public transport especially city taxi in Malaysia is using the cheaper NGV that costs less than LPG. Wan

Wan, Xian currently has many LPG public buses. They run faster than the petrol-fed buses. They are equipped with air-conditioners. The ticket fares are expensive. In recent days, the air-conditioners are closed since the weather isn't hot. The passengers are still charged CNY 2 if they don't have the transportation cards.

I used to ride a bus from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou, without air-conditioner, just imagine the weather was quite hot in end of July, and the windows couldn't be opened. We were like in an oven for more than one hour. Wan

Did someone swoon on the bus? I am curious why the windows couldn't be opened. Usually, there are several windows that can be opened on the buses with air-conditioners. The windows on the buses without the air-conditioners should be opened easily.
