Well, I could make a nice cup of "la cha" or pulled milk tea. To make it very simple but expensive in China as condensed and evaporated milk are quite expensive in China. While a box of 25 pcs of Lipton tea in China costs twice than in Malaysia. The Indians in Hong Kong usually take advantage of Malaysian visitors by charging them HKD20 for a small cup of pulled milk tea.

Wan,

I prefer Longjing green tea made together with spring water. Unfortunately, I can't afford it. Too expensive. So I just drink jasmin tea made with boiled water.

When you boil water, almost all minerals are gone. Why buy expensive spring water when it becomes the same after boiling? Now in Malaysia we have RO (reverse osmosis) water sold through dispensing machines, about CNY1 for 5 litres.

Wan,

I don't know about other cities. Just in my community, there is a purified water dispensing machine. After putting coins inside, you can have around 1 litre water. I don't know how much it costs because I am used to drinking boiled water.
