Sayitoant is quite correct about the situation in S'pore. It's a misperception. I know that in the major cities in China the facilities are now much better. But the countryside ones are still poor.
But isn't it nice to experience for ourselves the differences ? We learn to appreciate matters better.

Rome was not built a day !
all of you admitted that China made great progress in the past ,and we still need time to consummate public facilities in the future esp when we joined in WTO ( it is the first time I know it has another meaning :P)

Modification: "In Xi'an , construct 200 public toilets " should be "In Xi'an , construct 200 more public toilets " sorry for the misunderstanding I brought to you before .

I must say I have never heard any of my friends citing toilet facilities as a reason not to visit China. At least, my impression is that toilet facitlites in China should be the same those found in countries such as Thailand, a country many Singaporean youngsters love to visit.

Wocca,
Try clipping your nose (big, I understand !!) whilst lecturing. Am very sure, u can cope with a little discomfort initially.
I think swimmers, breathe out via their nose, suck in air via their mouths ?

Is every "Hallo" a personal attack now????
We shouldnt be toooo sensitive.

Toilets should not be a reason for avoiding to visit a country. Those pics were public toilets. Shit happens where hundreds of people do their "business".....

Quote from WOCCA :That's quite a fascinating supposition.

Please outline the specific technique that you have developed for breathing in via your mouth whilst talking publicly to a group.
UNquote.

U asked me to outline the technique to breathe thru the mouth. I outlined it to you above.
In another post started by you, u implied u had a big nose.

All the above are facts. What's wrong with my reply ??
