CNY1? Though they are cunning, it's not easy for law-wranglers to provide proof of beyond reasonable doubt.

Less than CNY 2000 after I retire from work? how can this be! It is terrible. Maybe we should reserve CNY 2000 more each month for future use. Corruption is evil and lacking of punishment increases the possibility of corruption by a general official. A vicious circle actually.

Your income must be great, dear Raindrop, if you can save RMB2000 per month.

No Wan, my income is not as much as I need, don't you forget that I have no any property to sale for my world trip. haha

Traditionally, Chinese save money for future use, many save part of their month income in the bank. It is good to prepare for a rainy day, but that may limit their pursue of enjoying life.

I agree with you, Raindrop, but still to me 2000 is a lot to save, compare to my income and the amount I have to spend every month. Probably just depend on my gratuity when I retire as well as my monthly pension. If I work for 30 years I would be given 60% from my last drawn salary, if less than that but more than 25 years, would be 50%. Not much to looking forward but that's the bitter truth I have to face.

Yes, me too. I pay for insurance every month but I have no idea how much I will get after retire from work. So, China has much to do to improve on social security.

But I'm thankful, at least I will have my gratuity (paid the day I retire) and my monthly pension for the rest of my life.

Raindrop,

Do not rely on anyone but yourself. Do your best to make money and support yourself when you are old. No one can foresee what will happen at least 50 years later.

If we can't, other people will get our pension. The government just extends retiring age by five years and I'd like to know how many people die before the retiring age and fail to get their pension.
