Braised “FISH”

Materials: an eggplant and some caraway.
Seasonings: minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, chicken essence, chopped shallot, starch, cooking wine, dried red chili and some sugar.

Step 1 Wash the eggplant, peel its skin, cut it into two pieces and make it into fish shape.

Step 2 Make texture on the eggplant with your kitchen knife and make out fish’s eyes with your chopsticks.

Step 3 Soak eggplant pieces in water for 10 minutes and then cut caraway into sections.
Step 4 Mix soy sauce, white sugar, chicken essence, salt and cooking wine very well and then add some water in.
Step 5 Fry eggplant pieces in vegetable oil with low heat.

Step 6 Fry minced garlic, chopped shallot and dried red chili in vegetable oil until fragrant, and put in fried eggplant pieces and then pour mixed sauce on eggplant pieces.

Step 7 Boil with high heat to drain the sauce and then pour starchy water on eggplant pieces.

Step 8 Place fried eggplant pieces on a plate and decorate with caraway sections. Dish off!

I am also nervous that how cherry can do all these very easily.

Thank you. I prefer to eat eggplant. It is delicious to me. And here is another easy way to cook it. I will show you in this thread.

Practice makes perfect. I tried 3 or 4 times to learn how to cook it. The sauce is the key. The recipe didn't say how much sugar, salt etc I should use. So I did some experiments and finally succeeded.

This recipe is for Rover and Atta. You may try it because it is very easy to cook it. But you can give it up if you don't like garlic.

Material: eggplant, garlic, caraway, green pepper
Seasonings: vinegar, salt, sesame oil, MSG, chili oil.

Step 1 Cut eggplant into shreds and steam for 10 to 15 minutes (depending on the size of your eggplant).
Step 2 Mince garlic and green pepper separately and then cut caraway into small sections.
Step 3 Put minced garlic and pepper, and add vinegar, salt, sesame oil, MSG and chili oil and then mix them very well.
Step 4 Spread caraway sections on the eggplant. Dish off.
