According to the ifeng.com, a tour guide who served as a pimp to his clients has been sentenced to 3 years imprisonment and fined 10000 rmb.

Mr. Chen is a Japanese tour guide in Xiamen. On Feb. 20, 2009, he learnt that his six clients wanted sexual service. Thus, he brought them to a local KTV and asked the KTV to find six girls to ‘accompany’ his clients. In the following two days, the KTV and he arranged another six girls to offer sex service in his clients’ rooms again.

The investigation tells that Mr. Chen served as pimp for 24 clients from Feb to March in 2009. On Nov. 5, 2011, he reported himself to the local police station and turned over 29400 rmb.

He should be blamed for what he has done. But I do think that some foreigners have to "behave themselves". Traveling is nice but seeking sexual service is a shame.

Just see those threads in Travel Companions in this forum. Many foreigners write that they want a beautiful girl to be their travel companions. Many of them require those who are interested in the job to send their CV with photos. What's more, they ask their potential companions to stay with them at night, have fun or party together.

Do they want to find a companion or a whore? It's a shame to them.

These are uncultured people we can do without, Jimmy. The world is still full of them. They have money, and sadly some poor girls are attracted to them like a moth to a burning lamp. It takes two to tango, like Keynes economic theory, demand and supply.

He is a jerk. I feel sad for those girls who make their livings in this way. There are many other ways to make money. But sleeping with foreigners is a faster way.

I am afraid that you may not travel alone in China without your supervisor (probably your dad or mom). Thus, stay at home and play with your toys.
