I am worried. Copy is not the only solution. We have to have our own core technology. A nation without creativity has no future at all.

Corruption (such as bribery, graft, etc.) is not easy to bring to justice, because although we have anti-corruption agency, to produce those guilty needs proof of beyond reasonable doubt. The offenders are clever and manage to hide their tracks because they won't do it openly. If politicians are involved, the long arms may not reach them but people have power not to vote for them.

With the present Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission, the power is higher than the police and the officers are answerable to Parliament and the king. Corruption is the root of evil that can ruin a civilisation/. Someone build a few blocks of apartments and to give coffee-money to certain officials including donations, etc. the developers won't get much profit, so they short-changed on the building material, instead of 1:3 cement-sand ration, they use 1:4, electrical wiring instead of 7-strength they put 5-strength, the building may collapse, the electrical wires get overheated, and people may get killed. We need to inculcate people not to involve themselves with any form of corruption. We have civics classes in schools.
