One of my high school classmates spent more than CNY 10000 during her hospital training. She told me that all these money were given to the leaders of the hospital. Otherwise, she wouldn't become a nurse in that hospital. I am not sure if there are doctors who enter the Shenzhen People's Hospital in a similar way. |

| Thanks Jimmy for highlighting this. From his response to my blood sample, he did the right thing for putting me under the drip for dehydration as my creatinine level at that time was 219 mmol instead of the maximum level of 130 mmol. In the morning my creatinine level went down to 170 mmol. Wan |

| Not very young Jimmy, I think about 45. I did have a translator but what can you expect from an English and TCM major translator that doesn't understand Western medical jargon? I don't mind if he prescribed generic clopidogrel which probably cheaper in China instead of Plavix, but giving me an aspirin which I am allergic to, caused a great concern. Wan |

| 45 years old? I assume that he didn't understand that you were allergic to aspirin. Probably, he didn't hear it clearly when you told him that you were allergic to aspirin. Translation is very diffiult. Even an English translator may not translate accurately because they have no knowledge of western medicine. |

| I had Plavix with me, and he should know why one uses Plavix instead of aspirin. I have brought with me 2 weeks supply of Plavix. He told me the hospital doesn't provide Plavix, only aspirin or maybe ticlid (ticlopidine). Maybe it's the policy of the hospital in China that would like to charge more? I don't really know, Jimmy. | Wan, I also have no idea. Maybe, that hospital really doesn't have Plavix. Plavix is a kind of imported medicine. Ordinary people can not afford it. In fact, imported medicine have much more profits, Wan. If the hospital really has it, they will ask you to buy it as long as you can afford it. |

| Malaysia has translated the Romance of Three Kingdoms by a government's literary department. This definitely would benefit the students in Beijing that are learning Malay language as an elective subject especially at BFSU. Some even studied Malay Language for their bachelor degree. Wan |
