It depends on which coffee shop she chooses. If Starbucks, I can afford it. But I can not afford to pay bills at some high-end coffee shops.

Go dutch? Good!

GUEST24212 BBQQ,

What kind of an interview was it?

1. for a job.

2. not for a job.

My vote will be determined by the type of interview conducted.

Job interview. Will you pay for the bill?

GUEST24212 If it's a job interview:
1. Interviewer (employer or his/her agent) suggests coffee - he/she pays.
2. Person being interviewed suggests coffee - he/she pays.
3. All expenses to get to the place of interview - must be paid by the person who is invited to the interview (prospective employee). Including cost of transportation, clothes, lodging, meals, etc.

GUEST24212,

Ok, clear. In No.1 situation, the employer suggests coffee and he asks you to pay for the bill, will you do it?
