In Malaysia, the same too. All government employees enjoy free medical facilities as well as medicines. The general citizen needs to pay a minimum fee but wards and food now are free for them.

May I say four-letter words? F****k! How can you provide free wards and food to them? I envy all Malaysians.

Haha, you're a funny girl dear Cherry.
You may say any word(s) you wish as long as webmaster feels it is not derogatory.

Yes. Here is another problem. The medical resources are unevenly distributed across the whole country. Almost all top hospitals are localted in Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities. Take Shaanxi for example, famous hospitals are almost all in Xian. Xijing Hospital is probably the most famous one in Xian. I went there once but failed to see the doctor. There were too many people who queued up. Some even went there one day in advance in order to get registration card for the doctor they wanted to meet.

The scalpers sold registration cards ten to twenty times of its original prices.

Wan,

We have "Three Big Mountains" on our back. They are education, medical treatment and apartments. It's too difficult to move them away.

Why move them away when we should not have carried them in the first place? They are created hindrances due to greed that later will produce unchecked catastrophes. If people are not greed by acquiring land and re-sell to a rocket price that estate developers have no choice but hike the price, whom none other than the culprits we know, the price of apartments won't be as high as today.

Wan,

Everyone dreams of a better life. They want to live in new apartments. Having an apartment is their dream, hehe. Local governments are very smart. They know they can make a lot of money by selling lands to the real estate developers.

I don't know if you notice this phenomenon. People don't buy things when they are cheap. They buy things when they become expensive. Ten years ago, it cost less than CNY 1000 to buy a square meter of an apartment. People seldom bought apartments for investment. Ten years later, the apartments are sold very expensively. People start to buy more apartments as they can. They believe that they can profit from their apartments.
