Well my late mom used to say, young doesn't make a son and old doesn't make a father, but we should at least respects the elders and love the young ones. Being Asioans, we always respect our moms' wish. Wan

"young doesn't make a son and old doesn't make a father." What a nice saying, Wan. A wise mom raises a wise son. Your mom is an excellent mom, Wan.

To any son or daughter, his mom to his eyes is always great. We have to bear in mind how she carries us in her womb for more than 9 months, provides us milk and food although she's weak and always lacks of sleep. Is she not great in our eyes? We should. The same too, when you grow up and become a beautiful girl and marries a man. He should extend his caring after knowing that he is taking the responsibility from your parents who cared for you and never hurt you in their lives. And life continues. Wan

Wan, It's not easy for your mother to raise you and your brothers. She passed her good characteristics to you wife. You wife can pass it down to your daughte. Just a recycling.

Yes, she raised ten of us. In Malaysia is not like in China with one child policy. We can have mire children as long as the woman is willing to get pregnant. Wan

The population of Malaysia is less than that of China. China takes one child policy to control its population growth. Recently, many scholars have suggested that one-child policy should be canceled since there are too many old people. Thanks to the one child policy, some old people have to live a very difficult life when their children passed away. It's the adverse effect of the one child policy.

Even rules of law can be repealed and revoked and what more a policy. With such a policy new generation won't have uncles, aunties and cousins, something auto-delete I think. Many Malaysians have low income but still they can afford to have big family. One of my friends, his monthly income is less than 2000 but he has one wife and eight (8) children and six are school going. Wan
