Majority of us Asians are too modest to admit. It reminds me of an old man I know, he told us his son's job is like a masseuse for people who have problems with their bones. He is too modest to inform us his son is an orthopedic surgeon at the University of Malaya Medical Faculty.

Perhaps, he didn't want to tell where his son worked. Otherwise, you might find him to offer some help, haha. Just kidding! Maybe, his son in his eyes is ordinary but excellent in our eyes.

He is in fact a rich man but doesn't show he is rich although a philanthropist and donates excessively to his community.

Money matters when we are lack of it. Money doesn't matter when we I have millions or hundreds of millions. To him, he needn't worry when his landloard will come to collect the rent. He needn't worry that he might lose his job if he doesn't work hard. In a word, he doesn't have worries we ordinary people have.

I am lack of money. So I have to worry about many things.

Probably my income is less than you but I would never worry. I don't have to be a millionaire in order to donate but I don't give to beggars. Sometimes people are willing to travel far and wide in seeking greener pastures but I travel to meet friends and observe people and community. I do not wish to dream for change while I do not make effort to participate. I may spend all my money this month but I am sure I would get the same amount next month and try to tailor my needs. I am thinking this way probably because we enjoy free medical and hospitalisation and lots of other fringe benefits.
