I should thank you too. It is you who posted this here and then drove me to look it up on the internet. Then I learnt something from the internet. Good!

Not sure yet as I have a heavy responsibility especially to see them finish their tertiary education. I have a few more years to bear before my retiring age, but I may opt anytime but of course the pension is too small to survive although with free medical and medication. Maybe I can teach kindergarten?

Maybe I can teach kindergarten? You must be kidding. It's like using a cannon to shoot a mosquito.

What's the use of a gun without bullets? I wish I could teach research methodology but then these new breed of young students can't differentiate between ALA and APA formats. At one time, one of the students that I supervised can't really provide me good research instruments; can't even explain his dependent variables. Well dear BBQQ, they'd like to be spoon fed like kindergarten students.

Most printed books are using MLA format for its bibliographical citation, one way or the other. My previous thesis was in MLA format too.

I still remember what my teacher said to us. Maybe, your thesis is not good. But you should write it in full MLA format and do check it to make sure that there is no format error.

So I always ask the students to buy books on standard formats. There are various books available in research methodology and its standard format of writing. Students today seldom read, they are cut and paste generation. Engineering faculty supervisors prefer IEEE format that coincides with Google scholar especially IEEE Xplore.
