We are not English native speakers, dear BBQQ. We have flaws but that don't mean we can't speak their language. I have seen one foreigner trying to communicate with my Chinese niece who is a Putonghua laoshi. She said his Chinese is terrible but instead she praised him for trying to speak Chinese.

I am sure my friends won't laugh at you with your English ability. I didn't say poor English because my English is poor too.
